Registration Is Open!

Lockwood Park (Equestrian Center)
3 shifts daily: 8am-12pm1pm-5pm and 6pm-9pm

With 146 acres, 10 buildings, 5 animal shelters, 2 playgrounds, 3 picnic shelters, a covered bridge, several miles of trails, dozens of picnic tables, and fences - lots of fences - this summer’s project will be challenging to say the least!

This June, we have the opportunity to come alongside the staff and volunteers of Lockwood in a way that ensures this educational and recreational facility remains a fun, inspirating community asset for kids and families for generations to come. If you haven’t been out to Lockwood recently, maybe it’s time for a visit. We think you will see why this may be the most fun project we’ve had to date!

We are asking everyone to consider 3 next steps:

If you would like to involve your work, club or church, send an email to and we can provide you with a packet of information you can use to promote and sign-up your group.

Please don’t miss this opportunity to invest in Rockford. Your hands are needed!!!

Rockford Sharefest Leadership Team

Sharefest Wins Excelsior Award

Rockford Sharefest has been selected as the recipient of the Rockford Register Star 2017 Excelsior Award. It was both humbling and encouraging last night to hear others talk about the impact our efforts have had on our community. From the start, we have said that we want our actions to bring help + hope to our community, and it was clear last night that both have been felt on multiple fronts.

Below are links to two articles from the RRStar newspaper highlighting Sharefest’s selection. If you get a chance, pick up a paper to learn more about all of the other finalists and the recipient of the 2017 Excalibur Award - Peter Provenzano. As you will see, we are in very good company!

Thank you for investing your time and energy in the transformation of our great community - you are Rockford Sharefest. Merry Christmas!!

That's a Wrap!

Great job everybody.

Thanks. And we hope you enjoyed yourself. See you next year!
